The candidates will be present for a community meet and greet between 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm on June 17th, 2026, at the fire station, 901 N. Saint Vrain Ave.

Peter Bryan began his public service career with the City of Victorville Fire Department in 1973. Over a distinguished 45-year career in public safety, he advanced through the ranks from firefighter to fire chief, serving in leadership positions with the Cities of Upland, Norco, Monrovia, Rancho Cucamonga, Hemet, and Wheatland. He currently serves as Volunteer Coordinator for Black Forest Fire Rescue in Colorado, a position he has held since 2026.

Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Administration and Technology from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Master of Science degree in Fire Protection Administration from Pacific Western University. He is a credentialed California Fire Chief and Chief Officer and is widely recognized for his expertise in fire service administration, emergency management, leadership development, and strategic planning.  He is a member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, International Association of Fire Fighters, and Society of Fire Protection Engineers.

Jason Clark has more than 30 years of fire service experience, working his way through firefighting, fire prevention, training, and chief officer positions in the fire service. He has served in roles ranging from Volunteer Firefighter and Fire Inspector to Battalion Chief, Training Division Chief, and Special Operations Division Chief.

Since 2018, Clark has been with the Eagle River Fire Protection District, where he serves as Special Operations Division Chief. Clark obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University and holds the Chief Fire Officer designation through the Center for Public Safety Excellence.

Marc Mahoney has over 27 years of public service in fire and emergency services, including serving as a Firefighter, Engineer, Lieutenant, Division Chief of Training, Shift Commander, Fire Captain, Emergency Manager, and Fire Chief. Throughout his career, he has led emergency response operations, firefighter training programs, community risk reduction initiatives, and multi-agency emergency management efforts in both urban and mountain communities.

Most recently, he spent seven years as the Fire Chief for the City of Federal Heights, Colorado, where he also served as the City’s designated Emergency Manager, overseeing fire department operations, fleet services, emergency preparedness, budgeting, personnel management, and regional partnerships. Marc is a respected fire service leader who holds a Master’s degree in Disaster Preparedness and Executive Fire Leadership from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety Administration.

Kevin Nunn is currently Fire Chief with the North Tooele Fire District in Utah. He began in public service in 2001 with Larimer County Emergency Services in Colorado, and since then has worked for the City of Pigeon Forge Fire Department in Tennessee and Seymour Volunteer Fire Department in Tennessee in a variety of firefighting, training, leadership, and emergency management roles. Most recently, he served as an Emergency Management Specialist with the Y-12 National Security Complex in Tennessee before assuming his current role as Fire Chief.

Kevin holds a Master of Science degree in Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
