Inspector Garber started as a volunteer firefighter with Plantation Fire Department in Florida. He spent 8 years as a volunteer before going on to Pembroke Park to serve as a Fire Inspector. In 1987 he went to work with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. He spent 25 years there as a firefighter/paramedic. During that time, he functioned as the Special Events Coordinator for the Local 2928, in addition to participating in community education as a CPR and First Aid Instructor.
After a short retirement, his passion for the fire service drew him back. He served as a fire safety inspector in Alabama for 3 years before moving to Colorado in the Spring of 2021.
Inspector Garber joined Estes Valley in August 2021. He lives outside the District with his wife.
